Carl… you had it right… that darn Urkle was always on your nutsack causing trouble. Sometimes, you just need to find a way to curb the anger….

I have recently learned that 3 certain individuals stir an uncontrollable anger inside me…and for what specific reasons, I’m not quite sure.

Subject A) Suri Cruise. An iPad… really?

B) that goddamn Progressive girl. I noticed she was in Mad Men and immediatly hoped that the e-surance chick would come out from the copy room and kill her character off. maybe in season 4?

C) its not a good year for auto-insurance spokesmen. Why can’t we just leave it at Dennis Haysbert with Allstate? Nope, one black man isn’t enough apparently… and to add to the hot mess of insurance people, there is the State Farm guy. I see him and I want to throw something. Not sure why.. could be that early 90′s Chandler haircut. Not sure tho. Alls I knows is that i hate him.

Thanks for not existing. You are the anti- Mo’nique. I can go months without shaving and my boyfriend would never notice…. and not because he loves me unconditionally, but because you don’t exist. I admit, I take your absence for granted sometime, however, I always appreciate the fact that I can wear a short skirt at a moment’s notice.

Maybe one day my armpits will take a hint from you.

they say inspiration can come from anywhere…. a flower, the spirit of a young child, the beauty of mother nature….. mine comes from a room full of skinny women in bitchin shoes. Allow me to essplain.

I went to an SF blogger meetup for some drinks, swag, and networking with other bloggers. Everyone in attendance were beauty bloggers and fashionista’s and as people began to ask me what my blog was about… i had a hard time pinpointing it.

Is it a lifestyle blog? sort of
is it a food blog? definitely…only im not a foodie
thats when it came to me… my blog is really about how i got fat.

ta-dah!

and i think i will continue on this journey as it seems fit. or unfit…get it? unfit? like my body.

It has been forever and a day since my last post, and if anything, i have been consistent with my lack of posting. It seems so much has gone on yet not much has changed either. I have been working diligently on my new line of homemade goods (paintings, purses, cosmetic bags, makeup brush holders and vintage styled aprons) and hoping to launch my new etsy store soon. It has been a labor of love. For weeks I have locked myself in my dungeon listening to my Pandora and pulling remnant pieces of fabrics out of my dogs mouths as they meander through my sweat shop. I have pricked myself more times than I can count, and have drawn blood enough times to know how to properly clot a wound. I really hope that it turns out to be a successful adventure. Im not lookin to get rich by any means….shit, I’ll be happy if I break even, but I am stoked none the less to have people want my stuff.

I already have one reseller……so what that she’s a friend and may not ever buy them again…the point is, i have drafted my first invoice and am gonna make my first big sale. that means i am officially big time. i know i know.. im kind of a big deal. as big of a deal as one can be sitting alone at 12:30 writing on her blog whilst listening to her boyfriend and 3 dogs snoring.
